Test Trading - New Deal - Business Startup Grants May 05, 2010

Want to start-up your own business but are scared of loosing any benefits you may be in receipt of?

If you are stuck in a rut and on benefits but scared of starting up your own business and loosing all your money then don’t be. There is a scheme called ‘Test Trading’ where you get help, advice, training courses and even new business startup grants all free of charge.

You are now legally allowed to start up your own business and run it for a maximum period of 26 weeks through the Test Trading scheme while still in receipt of all your entitled benefits. After the 26 weeks you will be able to see if your business is going to be profitable or not. This scheme makes it a little easier to take the plunge into self-employment.

Get in contact with InBiz who will mentor you through this process and provide free advice and point you in the right direction for business grants (http://www.inbiz.co.uk). It would be best to contact InBiz as your very first point of contact. 85% of InBiz leavers are still self-employed after two years. The figures says it all.
